We Welcome You To Troop 650!

Welcome to a new scouting year at Troop 650! We have many exciting things planned for the year including campouts, popcorn sales, BBQ sales, and other things that will give your boy some scouting skills. As of February, Rob Murphy has taken over as our new scout master, so let's make him feel welcome for his first full year with Troop 650. Remember, meeting times are now taking place at 7:00 and are held at Pinewood Presbyterian Church, 198 Knight Box Road, Middleburg, Florida. We look forward to having you in our troop.

Please be aware that access to this site is limited to Troop 650 members only. To get access, you must be fully registered with the Troop. ~Thanks

MB Fair is this weekend. Make sure to bring a camp chair, paper and pen/pencil, merit badge worksheets (printed from your merit badge book and completed pre-requisites. All scouts should also bring their scout handbook. If you are unsure what classes you are signed up for, check the notes. For instructions see below.

Adults will be cooking for the weekend. All families attending are asked to bring a side dish for dinner to go with the smoked chickens prepared by Spencer Gilmore. Lunch is provided by the Merit Badge Fair.

Let's have a good time and hopefully learn something!

Camp Card Fundraiser

Posted by Lance Dollinger on Mar 10 2015 - 9:59pm

Are you selling camp cards to earn funds towards your troop campership account?  At this point in time only 37 cards have been paid for (money turned in to Treasurer) of the 250 cards issued.  There are scouts who are requesting more cards to sell as well as other troops needing additional cards.  If you have sold ANY cards, please turn in your money on a weekly basis to the Treasurer.  If you have any unsold cards and are no longer interested in selling or have exhausted your selling opportunities then please return your cards to the Treasurer.  Do Not Sit By Idly On These Cards.  There is a limited supply and others can sell.  All funds and remaining cards must be turned in no later than April 6th.

Uniform Requirements

Do you know what to wear for scout activities?  Judging from how everyone looks at our recent troop meetings, the answer would be no.  Here is a friendly reminder of what is expected in regards to wearing the scout uniform for Scouts and Scouters.
