We Welcome You To Troop 650!

Welcome to Troop 650. We have many exciting things to offer your boys to get them excited for the Scouting program, such as monthly campouts, fundraisers (such as the BBQ and campcard fundraisers to help them pay their dues or to help them go to Summer Camp), community service projects, and so much more. Boys will have a very fun experience in this troop, and they'll learn some very important things too. For more details, come check us out at Pinewood Presbyterian Church on Mondays (except school holidays) at 7:00pm.

Please be aware that access to this site is limited to Troop 650 members only. To get access, you must be fully registered with the Troop. ~Thanks

Welcome Back BBQ and Court of Honor

Posted by Terri Dollinger on Aug 26 2015 - 1:43am

Don't forget...this Monday is our Court of Honor BBQ.  So far 24 people will be attending. Don't forget to sign up to bring a side dish.  All the potatoe chips and brownies have been chosen but there are many more items to choose from.  Shopping for food will be done this Sunday based on your RSVP.  Any scouts or adults who can attend before 7pm to help BBQ and set up, please email or text Terri Dollinger at or (904) 703-8859.

Congratulations to the new Patrol Leaders Council and Leadership Team!

On June 1, the troop elected Cameron Woolard as the new Senior Patrol Leader (SPL).  Cameron won by one vote over Zayne Underwood, who will be the new ASPL.  Luke Funyak was the unanimous choice for Patrol Leader for the Panthers and he selected Blake Livesay as the assistant patrol leader (APL).  Will Livesay was uncontested for his second term as the Frontiersmen Patrol Leader.  Lucas Beasley will serve as the APL for the Frontiersmen.  The new positions take effect July 1, 2015.

Troop Dues are scheduled as follows:
May ...$24

EFFECTIVE AUGUST 2015 dues will increase to $25 per month and collected monthly.

The Dec 2014 Troop Committee meeting decided to abandon a yearly troop fundraiser and increase the dues instead. All fundraisers made available to the scouts will have 100% of profits credited to their campership account. Campership accounts can be used to pay for dues, camping fees, troop uniform items, and/or summer camp.

Do you know what to wear for scout activities?  Judging from how everyone looks at our recent troop meetings, the answer would be no.  Here is a friendly reminder of what is expected in regards to wearing the scout uniform for Scouts and Scouters.
