The troop is considering an April camp out focused on cycling and the trail adjacent to the campsite provides a 46 mile cycling opportunity. Scouts interested in attaining the cycling merit badge will need to make 6 rides prior to the 50 mile requirement. If you are interested in completing the merit badge please email Mr. Brown at usbrowns@gmail.com so the troop can decide if we want to schedule up the required rides for the badge.

Summer camp is set for July 25 - 31. The cost will be $300 and registration will begin within the troop immediately. All camp fees are due by mid-May; however; merit badge selection begins April 1. A camp flyer has been distributed; let Mr. Brown know if you would like a copy. Please remember that camper funds can be used toward this trip.

The troop committee has come up with the same procedures as last year to fund the troop. As most of you know, it is a challenge to raise funds every year and as expenses grow, it is harder to keep up. The traditional annual fundraiser has not met the troop needs for the past couple of years.
