We Welcome You To Troop 650!

Welcome to Troop 650. We have many exciting things to offer your boys to get them excited for the Scouting program, such as monthly campouts, fundraisers (such as the BBQ and campcard fundraisers to help them pay their dues or to help them go to Summer Camp), community service projects, and so much more. Boys will have a very fun experience in this troop, and they'll learn some very important things too. For more details, come check us out at Pinewood Presbyterian Church on Mondays (except school holidays) at 7:00pm.

Please be aware that access to this site is limited to Troop 650 members only. To get access, you must be fully registered with the Troop. ~Thanks

The University of Scouting is an annual event organized by the North Florida Council.  This year it is in Gainesville and it is a one day event that offers training to adults and scouts.  We are planning on making a day trip to attend the UoS on Saturday, January 26.  There is no cost and if you register by January 15 lunch is also provided.  Each scout needs to register individually to select the classes they want.   Merit badges are also available.  Attached is the course catalog.  If your scout is interested in attending please sign them up on our website in addition to registering them.  Adult leaders and parents are also encouraged to attend.
